Adam Lambert (full name: Adam Mitchel Lambert) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. Since 2009, Lambert has sold over 3 million albums and 5 million singles worldwide.
He became famous in the year 2009 after finishing second in the eighth season of American Idol. In the same year, Lambert released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, which debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200.
The album spawned several singles, including Whataya Want from Me, for which Lambert received a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.

Adam Lambert Early life and education
Lambert was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, by mother Leila, a dental hygienist; and Father Eber Lambert, a program manager for Novatel Wireless.
Lambert’s father is of partial Norwegian descent and his mother is Jewish, with roots in Romania. Lambert grew up in Leia’s religion, he has a younger brother named Neil. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to San Diego, California.
He began performing with the Metropolitan Educational Theater Network (now MET2) from the age of nine. A few years later, Lambert began more intense acting and singing training, continuing to perform with both MET2 and what would become the Broadway Bound Youth Theater Foundation, as Lambert moved through Mesa Verde Middle School and then Mount Carmel High. School.
There, Lambert was heavily involved with the theater and choir, performed as a singer with the school’s jazz band, and competed in local Air Band competitions. Lambert has also appeared in local professional productions such as Hello, Dolly!, Camelot, The Music Man, Grease, Chess and Peter Pan, in venues such as The Starlight, The Lyceum and others.
After graduating from high school in 2000, Lambert attended California State University, Fullerton, but left after five weeks to move to Los Angeles: I just decided that what I really wanted to do was try to work in the world of ‘ real entertainment. Adam Lambert Career
At 19, Lambert landed his first professional job, performing on a cruise ship for ten months with Anita Mann Productions. Later, Lambert performed a light opera in Orange County, California. At 21, Lambert was signed with a manager and launched on a European Hair tour.

Lambert became aware of the casting director for Wicked, and was hired as a replacement for the role of Fiyero and an ensemble member in the first national touring production of the 2005 musical of the year and the Los Angeles production of the year 2007. Lambert finished performing with the musical in 2008.
Around this same time, Lambert briefly directed underground rock group The Citizen Vein with Steve Sidelnyk, Tommy Victor and Monte Pittman. Lambert has also worked as a demo singer and session musician; a compilation of his 2005 recordings was released in 2009 on the Take One album.
2019: Velvet + Queen e Adam Lambert
Lambert appeared with James Corden on The Late Show on January 20, 2019, for an NFL-themed episode, singing a parody of ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’. In February 17, Lambert performed a well-reviewed ‘rocking’ version of Blue Suede Shoes on NBC’s Elvis All-Star Tribute entertainment of Elvis Presley’s ’68 Comeback Special.
He will voice the character of Emperor Maximus and sing original songs for Playmobil: The Movie, a combination of live-action animated films released in the year 2019.
On December 3, Queen and Adam Lambert announced a 23-date arena and stadium tour with a new production for North America. The Rhapsody Tour added more dates in New York and LA; in 25 dates the tour ran from 10 July to 23 August 2019.
He released the song ‘Feel Something’ on February 22, called Rolling Stone’s ‘painfully poignant ballad’ which ‘showcases his acrobatic vocal range’. Co-authored with Benedict Cork, Josh Cumbee and produced by Cumbee and Afshin Salmani, it is the revealed starting track for the singer’s next album, which will be released through the independent label EMPIRE.

In April 2019, The Rhapsody Tour expanded to include seven stadium dates in Australia and three in New Zealand, scheduled for February 2020; and four shows in Japan and two in South Korea, for January of the year 2020. In the year of December, a European expansion of the tour that runs from May to July reached 25 shows, including a ten-show residency at the O2 Arena from London.

He released the song ‘Comin in Hot’ produced by The Monarch on June 26, along with the second video episode of the short film in support of the Velvet. He revealed that Velvet will be released in two parts, with side A slated for September of the year 2019. ‘Comin In Hot’ saw its debut airing on June 28 when he performed a set of five songs and was interviewed on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert series, to celebrate Pride month and WorldPride NYC in the year 2019.
In September 4, she released the single and video for ‘Superpower’, which will appear on Velvet: Side A, the first half of her fourth studio album. Its heavy baseline and ‘soft falsettos’ reflect 70s rock, the funk-heavy core of the multi-genre album, which was released on September 27th.

Committed to mobilizing world governments to eliminate extreme poverty and tackle climate change, the festival released its best ratings: with 60,000 admissions and nearly 21 million views worldwide, it generated nearly $ 1 billion in commitments.
He was among numerous performers at the Avicii tribute concert that drew 60,000 fans to Stockholm’s Friends Arena on December 5, to support suicide prevention and promote mental health awareness. On December 6, the digital version of Cher’s ‘Believe’ studio recording called ‘Tingling in the Spine’ was released.
